Rebecca Roth, PhD
Deciding to enter therapy can be intimidating but it shouldn’t be. Whether you are experiencing a new challenge or a long-standing problem, therapy is a wonderful opportunity for self-healing and growth. Often people enter therapy because they notice something feels “off” but are having a hard time identifying the problem; others come in knowing the problem but are struggling with how to address it. I will help you clarify the problem and together we will work together to identify goals and create a plan to help you reach those goals.
I specialize in treating adults experiencing a variety of problems including, but not limited to, insomnia (CBT-I), depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, difficulty coping with medical illness, life transition, PTSD, and stress management.
Life can be hard. Therapy can help you get through those challenges with a few less bruises and increased sense of control. We can work together collaboratively to increase insight and ensure that you are living in a manner that helps to foster more fulfillment and satisfaction.
Dr. Roth earned her PhD from Drexel University and completed her internship at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit. She stayed at the Detroit VA for another 15 years working in a variety of programs until moving back to Northern Michigan in 2018 and transitioning to private practice. Dr. Roth enjoys the flexibility of private practice and helping a range of clients navigate their challenges.

Lynn Neely, PhD
I provide virtual therapeutic services to adults who are experiencing a broad range of symptoms such as depression, anxiety, difficulty with life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma and stress reactions. I also provide specialty clinical services for insomnia, chronic pain, and coping with illness. Choosing to begin therapy can be intimidating. Many people enter therapy when they are feeling stuck or overwhelmed. We can work together to help you begin to feel better and move forward. I will meet with you, learn about your concerns, and talk with you about how therapy might help you achieve your goals. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), as well more general relaxation and mindfulness skill building. I believe treatment can be more or less structured depending on your unique needs and personal preferences.
Dr. Neely earned her PhD in 2003 from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. She completed her internship at the Dayton VA Medical Center. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in helping people with chronic pain. She was an Assistant Professor of Health Psychology at Oakland University in Rochester Michigan before transitioning to full time clinical practice for the past 16 years focusing on chronic illness, pain, insomnia, aging, PTSD, anxiety, depression, caregiving, and grief.
